Phil has worked in large national and local law firms and has extensive experience advising clients within the agribusiness, commercial and workplace relations sectors. He provides corporate and commercial advice to businesses ranging from the preparation of commercial documents & licencing agreements, negotiation and development of contracts and partnerships, through to HR & IR matters.
In addition to Business Law, Phil is a Rural Law specialist advising and assisting with negotiation of access and compensation agreements with mining, oil & gas companies, land clearing, grain contracts and trading and animal welfare matters.
He works closely with the WA Farmers Federation and Industry Associations, is a committee member of the Employment Law Committee and the Law Society of Western Australia and a Director of the Prostate and Breast Cancer Foundation.
Phil has appeared before Fair Work Australia, the Federal Magistrates Court and the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission in both mediation & litigation.
